Poem -

Waiting.

Forever and a day,
I waited at infinities edge,
contemplating all before me,
and beyond,
feeling the patient weight of gravity,
crush worlds and galaxies,
into life,
time has no meaning outside,
of temporary sentient construct,
the gods come and go,
some vaguely remembered,
others were never known,
immortality and perpetuity,
provide the patience for what I seek,
biding my time,
I have gazed into the forever abyss,
watching past, present and futures,
bloom and wither,
before my indifferent eyes,
what I seek,
in this limitless void,
is a fleeting moment,
of consciousness,
in a temporal,
temporary expression,
a corporeal physical manifestation,
to gaze with wonder and awe,
under an earthly night sky,
and contemplate the self,
as a microcosm,
within the macrocosm,
awareness in a physical extant,
enhancing the evolution,
of infinite possibilities,
thus nurturing,
infinities desire for growth.
