Walk any ocean

Walk any ocean

So when I finally step from the land
When there is nothing to anchor me
And everything to hold meย
I could drown, if I wish itย
To feel my lungs weighed downย
The fulness making me whole
As it always has;ย
but I don'tย
I no longer struggleย
My lungs taste the air
I hear them sigh
I feel them cry
The pain of breath is sublimeย
After years of harrowing time
I've purely had enoughย
Of drowningย
Of sinking
Of suffocatingย
I will walk any ocean
Through any darknessย
However deep
However treacherousย
To kiss the lips
That belong to me.
