Walk any ocean

So when I finally step from the land
When there is nothing to anchor me
And everything to hold me 
I could drown, if I wish it 
To feel my lungs weighed down 
The fulness making me whole
As it always has; 
but I don't 
I no longer struggle 
My lungs taste the air
I hear them sigh
I feel them cry
The pain of breath is sublime 
After years of harrowing time
I've purely had enough 
Of drowning 
Of sinking
Of suffocating 
I will walk any ocean
Through any darkness 
However deep
However treacherous 
To kiss the lips
That belong to me.
