Poem -

Walk Away

Walk Away

The smiles that were once yours, the adorable flaws, hearty laughs
The look that made you melt, the joy you felt...
Walk away

The walks, the talks, the sharing & caring,
The days & nights, the love, the fights...
Walk away

Embrace the new, the independent you,
Don’t fear, dry your tears, you see the future is yours to grasp, my dear...
Walk away.

For walking away is a chance to grow, to show you’ve learned & earned your place, slow dance, silent steps..no race.
Walk away

Tracey,
Very beautiful writing.
You are really talented.
I read your bio, and am really glad you came out from the non-publishing poet closet, because you're really good.

Great write,

Matthew.
