Poem -

Wanting

by C. Nastu

Should you never look at me again
take my eyes
for there is nothing left for them to see

Should you never wish to speak to me again
take my ears
for there is nothing left for them to here

Should you never like my touch
take my hands
for there is nothing left for them to feel

Should you never take my hugs
take my arms
for there is nothing left for them to hold

Should you never want my kiss
take my lips
for there is nothing else worth kissing

Should you not want me at all
take my body
for there will be nothing left.
