Wanting Acceptance

Wanting acceptance
Like a child holding a teddy bear.
Wanting not to feel shame.
It is time to gi to sleep
It's night and I'm undressing.

Attention seeker too,
Maybe that's what I am:
An insecure and shy young man.
Attention seeker half- depressed.
Insecure and half undressed.

Wanting acceptance,
Humble and meekk
It is approval and freedom
That I seek.
Lacking confidence, semi nude
A naive and feeble attitude.

I know too well
I have a childish mind
Another painful day:
I just want others to be kind.
