War Maiden

War Maiden

Travel yonder weathered war maiden,
See where the distant road takes you,
Be wary of those bent on your demise,
Riches for the taking are your due.

Mind those trolls executing those men,
Careful travelling through old burial sites,
Watch out for those lurking within caves,
Evil lurks during the days and nights.

Don't stumble across something epic,
Approach new areas with a stealth step,
You never know what you may encounter,
Use the experiences that you have kept.

Riches come to those who pursue them,
There's always someone guarding that
chest,
Workout the technique of your adversary,
A roll, side step, lunge and slash test.

Wielders of magic cast from a distance,
Learn to weave like many have found,
Wait till they are just about to release,
Put their annoying spells into the ground.

The quiet is the ultimate false calm,
It seems like there is nobody here,
But step closer in the landscape,
Just wait for the Demi God to appear!

Sometimes you just have one of those days,
The warhammers are twice the size of your head,
An ignorant fast fury of attacking blades,
And the next thing you are mashed, dead.

Ride your mount to the horizon,
Who knows what tomorrow will bring,
Will you discover a haunted castle,
Will you fight a mutated King?
