War Zone (Ode To Soldiers)

Flags sowed on their uniforms.
When one is gone their family mourns.
They get drafted then they go.
They might die for their country and this they know.
They are willing to risk it all.
So we have peace while more of them fall.
They are shipped out to far away lands.
They have a mission so they follow their plans.
Orders are orders and they must obey.
I hope they're safe I quietly pray,
and as I lay asleep at night
tons of soldiers are out in a fight.
Some are fataly wounded even killed!
No one can count how much blood has been spilled.
They need our love they need our trust.
They are even willing to die for us.
So I salute you of all ranks.
To you brave soldiers I send my thanks.
So you stay safe and hurry home.
Don't worry what you did for us is well known.
