Watching

Watching

The moonlight settled above tonight
Dancing shadows cascade through the trees,
The breeze, yet gentle carries many aroma
A clear sky overhead, harmony that one sees,
All that I choose to remember, is of you
All the elegant words, you had melted my heart,
The way you loved me, with careful warm words
A forfilled dream, with peace from the start,
You lit the flame, extinguished many yrs ago
Again opening my heart, always speaking the truth,
Moonlight shines, as it catches in your hair
Reminding me of your beauty, honesty & youth,
So why is there so much hatred in this world
When the above being created such beauty as you,
I fell into your eyes & my heart belonged to one
I made the promise to be sincere, in all that I do,
My arms wrapped around you, never to let you go
Our story & love, continues to grow as does a flame,
I whisper into your ear, something needed to know
For I will always be there, when you call my name,
My heart broken many times, hopefully never our journey
My life had fallen, you came & made me complete,
But our love is so different, within its core
No one as proud as me to be yours, walking down the street.

Hi no must be coincidence, I've just added on here, wrote yrs ago, it was just luck of draw that happened, glad you liked it, I write alot of sloppy romantic poems but writing these & giving all my heart still leaves me single these days!
