Watercolor Tattoos

Watercolor Tattoos

Lips moving, screaming "Hey Barbie"
The cold lips of watercolor tattoos
Dripping, saturated, right in the porcelain skin
Serrated edge that cuts skin deep
Bleeding, bleeding, bleeding
Teardrop sustenance
Feeding starved tattoos
Feed the poison
Sinking into the system
Skin deep, skin deep, skin deep
Right into the bloodstream
Coloring over my dysfunction
Too many, too many, too many,
I've started keeping score
One. Two. Three. Four. Five.
Decorated in my watercolor tattoos
