The Waves of Time

Red skin, bronzed by the blessed sun, and the sky gives way

We are one, we live for life, we fight for truth, we love for beauty

The waves of time, long for our naked souls, to be one

To feel the waters, to feel the earth, the wind, and the rain

Let us live, let us love, let the time tell the truth of all men

Where the canoe has drifted into the rivers bend, we shall find it

And there we shall paddle the drifts away, finding peace

We shall dance with feathers, the drums thump, and the birds fly

Into the sky, with a calm of a storm, with radiant sun, a rainbow will appear

All deer, antelope, buffalo, and the elk, will follow, and we shall find a new place
