Way of love

Life offers many a twist and turn. 
And bridges that we sometimes have to burn. 
But all along my way. 
I found a constant that would stay. 

I had always yearned for a love that was true. 
That is until the day I met you.  
You came into my life when I was low. 
An mended a beaten soul. 

Even from across the ocean so wide. 
Love concord the divide. 
A half a world away.

Somehow love connected the heart. 
And seen us through our darkest day.
