Wayward Lover

Wayward Lover

Lambent halo, may thou shine
Wayward lover once was mine
UsheredΒ death, perished too soon
Drifting afar to orbit a moon
Β
Celestial deity chose thy name
Aureole alight cleansing flame
Embellish dusky heaven’s floor
Beloved beacon endear e’ermore
Β
Infinite sweet dreams of thee
Cast thy lament to the sea
For I must brave β€˜morrow
Dispelling all errant sorrow
Β
Heaven harbors mysteries fair
Mortal torments a bane to bear.
Appeased to ponder eternal shine
Attested ardor shall always be mine
Β
