We Can't All . . . . . . No, But I Did

The air was fresh with scent of ozone from the sea,
it seemed like I had been where I wanted to be;
there was no sea in heaven, only spiritual plain,
away from PTSD - you'd never really have it again.
Nevertheless, there were some duties to be done,
you couldn't spend all your time lounging in the sun,
in fact, there was none, only light from a moon,
and a man playing a flute with a melancholy tune.
That man was Zelensky who'd had trouble on Earth,
he'd tried so hard to defend the land of his birth,
we looked back at Earth's wonderful silhouette,
you wanted nirvana but it was difficult to forget.
'I just tried so hard, always with my best endeavour,'
'Never mind,' I said, 'We will surely be with you forever.'
