We Don't Talk Anymore

Standing in the pub (or wherever)
Tapping on our mobile phones.
Although we're there together
We might as well be on our own.

I nolonger work in an office:
They've made me work from home.
I'm deprived of the camaraderie of colleagues:
They've made me work alone.

I go down to the shops
But who there wants to talk?
Self- service checkouts take the place of people;
Choose goods, then scan and then you walk.
