We Love you Debbie Reynolds

Our beloved Debbie Reynolds, chose to leave us yesterday;
“I want to be with my Carrie”, were the final words she’d say!
For her dearest little daughter, had died the day before;
So her body chose to shut down, for it could take the pain no more!
When most of us were children, we watched her on the screen;
In movies that we all loved, the best we’d ever seen!
She danced with the great Gene Kelly, in “Singin In The Rain”;
Then she had a famous hit song known as “Tammy”, we all sang to each refrain!
She married Eddie Fisher, a great singer of the day;
Two children, Todd and Carrie, the stork would bring their way!
The boy was named for Mike Todd, Liz Taylor’s famous mate;
But Mike died in a disastrous plane crash, in nineteen fifty-eight!
While consoling his grieving widow, Fisher fell hopelessly in love;
He announced that he was leaving Debbie, for passions from above!
Yet our heroine showed resilience, and her career would really soar;
But after two more failed unions, she vowed to marry nevermore!
Years later she forgave Liz Taylor, and the two became close friends;
It took a heart of purest platinum, to make such great amends!
But yesterday she left us, for her heart was broke in two;
Our dearest Debbie Reynolds, we will always love you true!

My Dear Brother Tony,
Yesterday morning, having found out that Carrie Fisher had passed away, I asked Linda, if her mother, Debbie Reynolds was still alive. Â We checked and found out that she was, being 84 years old. Imagine our shock, when we were watching the eleven o'clock news last night and found out that she had just passed away too. Â Talk about the epitome of a broken heart. Â From your mouth to God's ears, may He bless her and keep her safe in His love.
Peace, Love and Rockets,
Larry xxxÂ
