Poem -

We Once stood tall

We once stood tall and served for you

In uniform we gave our all

And never thought of what would become

of all us once we got home

We all got issued medals like Judas in the night

our governmentsĀ just washed their hands

and said its not our fight

but now from public outcry of soldiers and their plight

the government is forced to act for those they chose to blight

and in a word the people cry Ā the shame of soldiers all

is that the ones we chose to serveĀ

never gave a shite
