WEATHER OR NOT

WEATHER OR NOT

WHY DOES IT RAIN ON BANK HOLIDAYS OR MONDAY MORNINGS?
NATURE HAS NO KNOWLEDGE OF SUCH COMINGS AND GOINGS;
I THINK IT'S CUSSED - GOD THROWS WHETHER WE LIKE OR NOT,
CAN'T HAVE IT GOOD ALWAYS - FORGOT TO TURN THE TAP OFF.

DON'T TELL ME YOU LIKE THEĀ  RAIN - I HAVE TO GO TO WORK AGAIN,
I'M WORKING OUTSIDE, WHILE YOU'RE ON COSY COMMUTER TRAIN;
WE KNOW THINGS HAVE CHANGED BUT OFTEN STILL THE SAME,
BUT NOW I'M LOOKING AT THE SKY AND KNOW WHO TO BLAME.

SIMPLY SEEMS TO MEĀ  - LIVE IN THE CLOUDS, A WHITE CLOWN,
BUT IF YOU LIVE IN THE SUN THEN YOU MUST BE BROWN;
I HEAR THUNDER, NEVER MIND, LET NO MAN PUT ASUNDER,
BE THANKFUL, FORGIVING, WIPE AWAY THE TEARS OF WONDER,

WE KNOW THERE'S NO RAIN IN HEAVEN, LOOKING OUT THE DOME,Ā
BUT THE NEXT TIME THERE'S A HOLIDAY, I'M STAYING AT HOME.
