Weeping Willow

Weeping Willow

Ask not why the weeping willow weeps
For its secret, it will forever keep
Tears fall from its withered branches
For it has run out of chances

Love everywhere
Beautiful and fair
Yet it writhes in disgusting despair
For its true love does not care

Absent and cold
Is its mind, body, and soul
Forever driven mad
Distant, lonely, and sad

So ask not why the weeping willow weeps
For its secret, it will forever keep
Lost alone in its mind
For true love, it can never find
