WEIGHT OF THE WORLD ON YOUR SHOULDERS

I know at times it seems to be

the weight of the world you have to carry

it all piles on, no relief in sight

with each new day, a different plight

you struggle to endure, the pressures of it all

your balance off set, it's about to tumble off

yet still you try and carry this load all alone

not accepting any help, you'll do it on your own

but what I've been trying to get you to see

is that you no longer have to carry

let me take the load, my shoulders are firm

I'll be that rock, please accept my concerns

they're genuine and real, no judgements this way

only love and emotions to strengthen your day

for the world is too huge for one person to endure

so assistance is what I offer, never trying  to control

your strength is what makes you the woman you are

it carries you to distances both near and far

your strength empowers you to be stronger than most

to always go the distance it enables you to grow

still your strength combined with mine, can move mountains,

shift the earth, our powers combined can transform pain and hurt

the world is too big for your shoulders my dear

yet my shoulders are fresh, I am ready, I am here
