What a joy my children bring

What a joy my children bring

As I remember those little things

How they use to climb the walls

My curtain climbers they was called

Chocolate smiles and sticky kisses

Scrapped up knees and bubble gum wishes

Story books and candyland

New toys on the floor my good dishes buried in sand

Chalk marks and pen marks on the wall

A race to grow as I recallĀ

Tiny feet running about

Doors left open both in and out

What a joy my children bring as I remember those tiny little things
