What Lies Beneath

Jealousy troubles his spirit;
and is taking control
Hold me tight, she whispers
Tilting her head curiously his way
Brushing amber hair with flips and head turns
Body naked before the mirror
He suppresses the urge to word his accusations
Hold me tight, she whispers
And what if another come calling, on one lonely night?
Would you give in to temptation?
Desire pounding heart-beat, soul bitter-sweet,
The weight of suspicion pressing in on him
Hold me tight, she whispers
Her warm silken fingers touching his lips
Igniting his ravenous penetration without kissing
Then the thrusts and guttural sounds begin
What is this poison he ingested, possessing him?
Pleasure burning as a consuming fire, skin is oxygen
Hold me tight, she whispers
Reckoning his actions as the ultimate betrayal,
He gives sway to the pulling of the pleasure current
Tasting her swollen flesh; insatiable his avarice
Her moisture saturating his face and lapping tongue
Hold me tight, she whispers

appreciate the feedback very much Cherie, and thanks for being so in depth as well, it's not the kind of poem I feel comfortable writing for it takes me out of my comfort zone, but I want to be a much better poet so discomfort is a part of that; was attempting to show the point of view of submissive woman and insecure man, and what binds them; why they are in a relationship... yes it's def. not 'traditional' erotic, I'm attempting here to be less linear...you basically saw everything and understood this poem remarkably well; I'm so impressed and thanks again for taking the time and encouraging words...cheers
And salute to you too, Marvellous...thank you for saying that.... I've read most of your poetry, you're seriously interesting and talented...appreciate that you took the time to gather this one, I started off with the intent to write a 'conventional' erotic poem, but in the process I got bored and wanted to show a different angle, so your comment does mean a lot, thanks again
