Poem -
What will be......
to lay here in this dark room
not knowing where I stand
for all love has left this place
I can`t complete your demand
though my heart is breaking
tears silently run down my face
I always wanted to love you
instead I bring only disgrace
the kindness that you showed me
is something I must preserve
all I ask is your mercy
not sure that`s what I deserve
so as I lay here in despair
not knowing my destiny
feeling my future slipping away
holding on to your memory.
