"What You're Missing!"

"The worst portion of me,
has been cut out.
Now it's being dissected.
I'm discovering,
what it was about.

Now I am embracing the edge,
making it work,
for the good instead.
Because I'm sick and tired,
of trying to win,
at the Devil's Game,
like I won't burn,
when I'm put,
in the flames.

This is about more,
than inspiration,
and motivation.
These words are scribbled,
with the fury of desperation,
in trying to reroute,
my almost certain damnation.

I pray you find hope,
in these words too,
because you can always be,
a different you!
Just let go,
grab ahold of your reality,
tell yourself and mean it,
say,
"I'm gonna be,
a better me!"
Because there's more to life,
than surviving,
and just plain existing.
So put those drugs down,
and come see what you're missing!"
