What's Worse . . . . . .

What's Worse . . . . . .

What's worse than a smart-assed lawyer - a failed one,
how about working nights - not good said and done;
you've never lived a day's work even above or below,
only managed to play music on the disco or radio.

I sweated away - 'Why do you want to be a slave?'
While he sold cothes to go to the latest silly rave;
However, I felt sorry for factory workers, even AI,
tightening bolts, soon all robots - so humans goodbye.

Funny to choose - they said that surely I would go far,
I did - they sent me on a mission to darkest Africa;
I could have been one of the few world's hit-men,
what a job - not much time to look at knick-knacks again.

But I had a ball - although life catches up with magical,
as it turned out - I needed that smart-assed lawyer after all.
