Poem -

When angels cry

When angels cry

When angels cry,

Their tears billow from the sky,

Crying for the once vibrant beautiful land,

Where trash and smog now stand,

Crying for peace,

Destroyed by fear of nuclear warfare threats that don't cease,

Crying for the meek,

Crushed by the majorities feet,

Crying by the side of a hungry child,

Who has to watch the obese eat,

So many tears,

Angels flood our world with,

The end must be near.

Hello Gordon...

I  read this several times...

Have you had a...

One of those days?

It happened today...

Again...

Great write!

What do the Angels see?

What if they could hear the things going on?

Do they know what we are facing in the future?

Are they blocking their eyes?

Their ears?

Questions keep coming to me...

Thank you for sharing...

Hugs...

Hi Gordon, this is so well written and such a superb piece, you have great talent and skill. Oh if only this world could find peace and humans would stop committing such evil and just spread Gods love and share what the fortunate have with others. Well done for a superb piece and for spreading love with such wise words.

Much love to you

G xx

What saddens me most of all is how much attention people who use religion to power hate and use it illogically. Never do we hear about the great things that come out of the church or of the people who have powerful moving thoughts of scripture. Humility is a strange thing.. Thank you for reading :)
