When depression takes control.

When depression takes control.

My bed is my best friend.

My bones aren't broken

But my body is shattered

I close my eyes with ease every night

Struggling to lift my head from my pillow every sun rise

I wake to wonder why I'm still here when I begged my dreams to take me with them.....
