WHEN SHADOWS FADE
A POEM BY WILLIAMSJI MAVELI

WHEN SHADOWS FADE
When shadows fade, and pathways blur,
And doubt's cold fingers softly stir,
A whispered appeal, a heart's soft call,
For daylight to break, and darkness descend.
Not blinding sun, nor fierce, bright blaze,
But gentle glow, in thoughtful haze.
A lantern lit, within the mind,
Where tangled threads, we hope to find.
Pour light upon our woven fears,
The knotted doubts, the unshed tears.
Illuminate the hidden way,
Where courage sleeps, and dreams hold sway.
Each hesitant step, a shadowed trace,
A winding path, in time and space.
But light reveals, the stones unseen,
The fertile ground, where hope has been.
Pour light upon the branching roads,
The heavy burdens, and the loads.
Let clarity descend and gleam,
A guiding, steady, inner beam.
No longer lost, in misty grey,
But seeing choices, come what may.
With gentle warmth, and steady grace,
Pour light, and find our rightful place.
