Always wishing for brighter days

Waiting for the Sun to show

I missed out on some good living

I never did see the rainbow

I couldn't see the glistening shards of dew

Feel or smell the freshness in the air

Skies can't always be so blue

As clouds form over head

I tell myself; Find the silver lining

Look for the golden threads

The Sun can't always smile so bright

Some days the rain must fall
