I close my eyes
Its your face I seeÂ
Staring right back at me
Knowing I have to say Goodbye
Is something hard to do
God has taken you to heavenÂ
To protect you and keep you safe
My heart feels emptyÂ
It's something I've never feltÂ
Something is missingÂ
And that something is youÂ
You will forever have a placeÂ
In my heartÂ
May you now rest in eteternal peace.Â
I'll be thinking of you always.
Until the next time we shall meet.
