Poem -

When You Were You

When You Were You

You are you and no one else
But who is you is who I love
When you are angry push comes to shove

Though who is you, only I know
But the you that I see is not the you that you show
And the you that I love doesn't love only me
The you that I love every one wants to see

That you who is you
Who I thought I always knew
You are what I always wanted
What only knew

Though the you that is you
Is not my you
That you is now dead and gone
To the you that was you: please come home
