Poem -

Where Are You

Have I lost my mind, am I numb inside
Pieces of trash surround me, filled sewers of rivers slime
Peelings of rotten bananas float by
It is so very dark, I feel almost blind, I can not see through  lost time
The distance of hours, of thousands of miles
Rat infested by neglect, no longer connecting the dots
I find needle marks all over my arms
Where are you when I cry out, when I am lost in this miserable mess of crime
It is now just a matter of time until I meet the devil face to face
Where are you, help me get out of this cage of doom
As my grave fills up with more regrets
