Where do we come from?

Where do we come from is the question you see
The answer isn't easy to me
Christians say Adam and Eve
But Eve tempted Adam why not me
Athiest say they don't believe
Not to believe seems a little naive
Hinduist say its karma for me
But it seem's Karma is a bitch to you and to me
How do we know what to believe
Buddhist say it's nirvana for thee
Nirvana sounds like something's in the way you see
Muslims say Allah's the way
Allah's the way I don't know what to say
Alien colony we could be
how far out would that be
Scientist say Lucy is the key
But Lucy is a hoax you see
made to look like you and me
Where do we come from
Let me see
The answer isn't  beknown to me
But One thing that is known you see
Blood does flow thru you and me
Cut us both do we not bleed
So hear my plea from sea to sea
Where we come from does not matter
Let us stop the endless spatter
Yellow black or white
we should not fight
We are all the same bright light

I love this...I hate it when people use religion as a yardstick for violence...I see a human being and not what your belief.  Thank you very much for this piece Moose
