Where Whispers Go

Have you ever wondered where a whisper goes,
A heartbeat wrapped in air?
It starts out silent then it grows
'Til everyone knows it's there

Whispers become the breeze in the fall
That chase the Autumn leaves
A gift from God to one and all
No matter what anyone believes

Sometimes we whisper in silent prayer
With words only God can hear
He listens to all the things we share
Then lets us know He's near

A whisper is something that will never die
It returns from where it came
It's needed by all, both you and I
It's what makes us all the same

Without a whisper we wouldn't be whole
For it's found where the angels trod
Without a whisper we'd have no soul
For a whisper's the Breath of God
