WHISPERS OF LOVE
Poem by WILLIAMSJI MAVELI

WHISPERS OF LOVE
In the kingdom of love, where dreams doth roam,
A prince met an angel, in fields of blossomed foam.
With grace she danced, in the moon's soft glow,
He offered her a flower, a gift to show.
The angel smiled, her eyes like stars aglow,
Accepting his token, with a gentle, loving flow.
In return, she whispered, a secret divine,
Of a drop of red wine, from a castle's vine.
Through corridors of stone, they did softly tread,
To the grand dining room, where tales are spread.
With goblets in hand, they shared the wine,
A sip of passion, a moment so fine.
The castle echoed with their laughter and cheer,
As they toasted to love, so pure and sincere.
For in this tale of love, as old as time's sway,
A prince and an angel found joy in their day.
So let the bards sing, in valleys low and high,
Of a prince of love, and an angel in the sky.
For their story lives on, in folklore's embrace,
A timeless ode to love, at any time.
