Poem -

To Who It May Concern,

My screams are being suffocated by my smile.

The happiness that I show strangles the sadness I don't.

A confident walk hides the broken shadow behind it.

Tears are trapped inside by the fear of judgment.

Cries for help are considered an act of seeking attention.

Nobody cares enough to dig deep past the layers of so called happiness.

How can I get out of a hell that was made just for me?

I don't want to be what everyone thinks I am.

But I can't change a thing, so I will burn by myself.

Sincerely,

The person you have always known.
