Who said that you can decide, what is poetry?
If you think my words are weak because they are
Not poems, as thou think so but I shall remind thee
That ye have no respect, for those who tell their love ones
That their poems art what they said
Accept if one's poetry is different from you, alas, thou cannot
Say what thou think, based on thy sound
But I shall tell you that ye have no idea what poetry is
If you think that is based on yours, then, thou know it's unfair
For you to say that my words are weak, no, not fair for thou
To say that I said, the weak words because thou think thy words
Art strong or what you said, the strong words thou think so
But not me, not some, ye see that I might paint thy understanding
That ye need to respect, for those who declare that they're saying
Or writing is poetry, accept anyone's poem who declare their poetry!

A Poem for you!
Poetry is,
Poetry is how we see the world.
Poetry is how we convey these thoughts.
Poetry is being able to stretch our imagination.
Poetry can be written, signed, texted, photographed and spoken.
Poetry is art that we have inside, streaming to the page, often out of place.
Poetry is learning how the great poets of the past, compare to those today.
Poetry is communication, using words, phrases, dialect, culture and anticipation.
Poetry is everything and anything you bring that shares your vision on the page.
Poetry is learning how to bend the sound with words often over looked.
Poetry is knowledge, figurative language, imagery, meter, rhyme, narrative and thoughts.
Poetry is the world you know, combined with the fantasy of life in the future.
Poetry is a gift to share with loved ones.
Poetry is life that leads us to better and brighter places, if only in our minds.
