Who Stole the Sun

Loved

I told my mom
I would touch the sun
She said,
Don’t be silly
But i wasn't,
So I built a ship
And flew
Flew
Till i grew hot
And
Caught fire
But when i reached
The sun
There was only
A Beautiful girl
Her eyes and heart
Soft but hot as fire
I reached to touch her
Dont, She said
But i did
Pop*
A searing pain roared
Through me
Light filtered into my eyes
A girl was holding on to me
To me in my bed
I got up
My heart burned
Like the sun
I told my mom
I touched the sun
She said, Where is she??
