Why Can't They

• People are always in your business, they just can't seem to mind their own
• They try to control your every move like you're a child, even though you're grown
• It really drives me crazy though, and has me pulling out my hair,
• Knowing that they are about to push you over the edge, and they don't even care.

• I am in a very bad spot and right now my back is against the wall
• Feeling that at any moment it's going to collapse and you are going to fall
• Why can't they understand that I too am a human being just the same
• This is my life we're talking about here, yet they treat everything as though its a game
• No one is perfect and I know that I am going to make mistakes along the way
• But  I am truly trying the best that I can and that's all that I can say
• Regardless as to what you might think, I don't need you to hold my hand,
• Or for you to be standing over my shoulders constantly blurting out your demands
• I need for you to please let up I told you that I was trying.
• But no matter what I ever seem to tell you, you always think that I'm lying.
• I'm working my hardest just putting one foot in front of the other
• I need for you to allow me room to breathe and not to keep feeling smothered.
• It's gonna be a rough and rocky road but I'm just gonna keep moving forward
• To have a happy life with my family and my wonderful children is the goal I'm working toward.
