WILLIAMSJI MAVELI WRITES.....

Whirlpools Swirl

Curved around her form,
two nearby whirlpools swirl,
beckoning me onward.
By the dawn's light,
all her waves wear white,
kneeling on the shores.
The walls of longing
dance and crash
against my darkened rocks.
In and out of her
blue river's mouth,
emerges the tongue of an ocean.
Red with froth,
the sea consumes
the river's mouth.
Arched into the heavens,
the waves' arms embrace,
leaving behind deeper blues.
Her verdant valley
welcomes sun's rays
into her bosom.
At the touch of dawn,
her radiant moon softly dissolves
