WILLIAMSJI MAVELI WRITES......
Ode to the God of Beauty

Where submissiveness whispers of desire,
She dares not meet the gaze of divine grace,
For fear her heart would quicken its pace.
Her eyes, averted from beauty's embrace,
Lest love's tender tendrils leaving in a trance.
In the backyard of warmth, she does not tread,
Preferring the shelter of elegance of words unsaid.
In poetry's lines, she finds her own  solace,
In the dance of words, she finds her grace.
Each verse a tribute, a sacred vow,
To the god of Beauty, her love doth bow.
For in his radiance, she finds her peace,
Where love's complexities gently cease.
No vows to bind, no hearts to break,
In the sanctuary of verse, her refuge she'll make.
With ink-stained hands, she paints her dreams,
In colors woven with moonbeam streams.
For her devotion lies in poetic bliss of life,
Where she's safe from love's uncertain signs.
So let the world chase after passion's flame,
For she, content in her poet's name.
With her god of Beauty, she'll dance and sing,
Forever cherishing the solace he'll bring.
