Dawn's sharp rays relent, refrain.
Like feathers drifting from falcon's soar,
Darkness descends, and night's wings explore.
Shadows dance through village walls,
Glimmers amidst my cottage halls.
Sadness whispers, like mist's soft kiss,
Emotions swirl, hard to dismiss.
Melancholy, longing intertwine,
Thoughts of you, a cherished sign.
Yet kept at bay, hidden in sorrow's domain,
Morning mist mirrors the rain's refrain.
