WILLIAMSJI MAVELI WRITES
WHEN OUR TIME FADES

WHEN OUR TIME FADES
No deeper anguish dwells in the present,
Rather, it's a real gain in the twilight crescent.
Life, a wall-hanging of joy and borrowed sorrow,
Crafted by your hands, today and tomorrow.
The mind resists acknowledging the immediate,
Yet the depth of pain resides in this very moment.
Picture the Earth sans humanity's touch,
All it craves is time, the sanctuary of a mindful clutch.
When our time fades, we slip into forgetfulness,
A faint departure, as if we were never drawn.
Such is life, a simple love story in an oasis,
Lived well, loved gently in a quiet, serene stasis.
As a dwelling loses its essence, a silence descends,
Another touch of silence, where the soul's journey ends.
No one ventures far, from one desert to the next,
All voices, untamed echoes, destined to connect.
