City Petals and Little Lights,
Where spring blooms for both,
Joanne, Leanne, and the moods of
Green Garden's tiny Glow
In the City's Springtime Heart
In canyons of concrete,
where the city's heart beats,
Spring arrives softly
on bustling, bright streets.
With Joanne and Leanne,
hand in small hand,
We wander and wonder
in this blossoming land.
Cherry trees whisper
in shades of soft pink,
As sunlight on skyscrapers
makes the towers wink.
Laughter like chimes in the clear,
warming  fresh air,
Chasing away winter's last,
chilly care.
In  Park's pathways,
where green starts to gleam,
We walk in the light of
a city spring dream.
With love as our compass,
 and joy as our guide,
New York's spring beauty,
with you by my side
