WE ARE DANCING DOLLS
The world's a floor, polished bright,
A stage awaits the day and night.
Come, take my hand, don't delay,
We're dancing dolls, come, let us sway.
Strings unseen, a gentle pull,
Life's a waltz, never dull.
Spin and leap, though made of clay,
We're dancing dolls upon the play.
Curtain up, the music starts,
A rhythm beats in all our hearts.
Forget the strings, the painted guise,
Just dance, dear doll, beneath the skies.
