WINDOWS OF LOVE BY WILLIAMSJI MAVELI
WINDOWS OF LOVE

WINDOWS OF LOVEĀ
The sun's bright pearls have fallen, ceased their gleam,
And now the moon ascends like a silver rivulet.
I long to watch the distant hills from where
Your window stands, a sight beyond balance.
This yearning, deep, will not with moon-set cease,
O heart's soft moon, I lulled to gentle concord.
When you awake, I beg you, do not say,
"Walk down this leafy path and go away."
Let me remain, where starlight softly falls,
And hear the night-bird's gentle, whispers.
For in this stillness, my soul finds its rest,
A tranquil haven, where I feel most blessed
