Winter Sky

Darkest of skies in winters eyes it sleeps in peace

The spirit of the song from the moon keeps its faith

For the snow from the mountains carry us through to the brightness

Of the day, as the white covered hilltops meet us with smile

They cherish the sky and cry out to the eagle and the sun

Be winter or night the darkness it lies to the east and the west

North and south let it sleep and give us happiness for we honor

Its winter moon shines through to the forests where we protect

Our creatures and nature of our earth until the spring rain begins

A new life from the darkness of the winter sky it shines through
