pull ourselves together,
fight together,
to run beside each other,
lets fight the unwinnable wars,
use the powers we don't have,
the creature that we imagine,
the story of a girl who doesn't exist,
the weapons we make,
the lives we're forced to live.
We play,
with the mere idea,
of slipping away,
of taking that final step,
of dropping away,
into the silence,
where we can't be seen,
where we no longer exist,
not known,
never missed,
not even a tear,
just an absence.
We hope,
screaming to be heard,
in the eternal silence,
of our whirling minds,
of our screaming souls,
we hope,
we wish,
to be missed,
not to be one more,
but to be a tragedy,
a missing link,
a lost soul,
a thousand tears,
to make staying,
but one more day,
worth it.
