Woodland Fairy

Woodland Fairy

In a secluded part of the wood
through a shaft of bright light
sat on her toadstool a sweet fairy
full of sparkle, a wondrous sight

with delicate paper thin wings
illuminated by the sun
a mischievous glint in her eye
contemplating so much fun

for this little woodland fairy
sprinkles fairy dust all around
brightening up every dark corner
leaving sweet footprints on the ground.

Very well described Lassie. This reminded me of what I used to read  when I was little. Sweet innocent poetry. Beautiful!
