Pulling me into

a strange desire

coming from the depths

of my soul.

I look into blue

into a person unknown

yet I feel so familiar

and completely not alone.

Why this connection?

Could it be fate?

What I feel in your presence

gives me hope

we could have something great.

Then your voice

it betrays...

what I feel in my soul.

Your words tell a story

that I never wanted

to be told

and doubt begins to feel

like a burden in my mind
