Drown me with insignificance, please don’t let me take another hopeful breath.

Suffocate me with disappointment,
please don’t let me hurt another person.

Kill me with passion, please don’t let me live another day, I don’t deserve it!

such a sad write it made me cry. when a poet can weld such power to harness emotion you call them an artesian.

My heart bleeds these words, I cannot pretend I can become what I should’ve, at their hands I became what they wanted! I’m trying to survive and defy all the past patterns!
